Build it square, build it strong! Build it curved, build it sticky! Build it together, build it big! Build it WOW!
In the revamped Build It WOW! Exhibit, children have the opportunity to learn how different shapes form the basic building blocks of more complicated structures. At different building stations, children can learn about geometry, spatial relationships, balance, and stability. Visitors can also explore different ways objects can connect to each other. While creating, children practice the skills of imagining, planning, executing, and modifying ideas which sets an early foundation for STEM learning.
The Build It WOW! Exhibit is on display through September 2017 and is generously sponsored by Anne M. Larsen, State Farm Agent.

The Music Industry program is designed to offer high school students a window into into the current state of the music industry. Students will explore many aspects of the industry including performance, singer/songwriter, music business, and recording arts. The program is designed to preview the CU Denver Music & Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) Department college programs.
Students will have the opportunity to take two elective courses and participate in two ensembles. This summer we will offer electives in the following areas: Performance, Singer/Songwriter, Music Business and Recording Arts (audio production).
We also offer many exciting ensemble options. This summer students can choose from Pop/Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Hip-Hop, Latin/Jazz, A Cappella, Mobile Device, Studio Chamber, and R&B. There will also be options for students who prefer to focus on Recording Arts or Music Business instead of being in an ensemble. The final ensembles offered at the camp will depend on student interest. All students will get a chance to record a song with one of their ensembles and perform at the student showcase at the conclusion of the camp!
